Light Vehicles
Light vehicles more than five years old require an eSafety (Pink Slip) inspection and valid report to re-register your vehicle. Driving an unsafe and unregistered vehicle is a serious offence that can have catastrophic consequences. We can help you get registered and, on the road, safely in no time.

Vehicles with a Gross Vehicle Mass (GVM) of 4.5 tonnes or less.

SWALE mechanics and technicians perform a comprehensive assessment of your vehicle, covering all critical systems. You will be informed of any defects and advised about prioritising repairs. We will provide you with a detailed inspection report upon completion.
Heavy Vehicles
SWALE’s Heavy Vehicle Authorised Inspection Scheme (HVAIS) station is accredited by Roads & Maritime to perform safety, identity, and design checks. A comprehensive inspection report is issued upon completion, which can be used for registration purposes.

If your vehicle fails the inspection, you will receive a report stating what repairs must be made to achieve a pass. You cannot renew your registration until the repairs are made, and you receive a successful inspection report. SWALE technicians will assist you every step of the inspection process.
